WOMEN

So if you’ve talked to me about feminism before you understand that I have strong opinions about the subject that contradict each other. HAHA. :(

Fall Retreat was awesome. But now I’m writing a paper (that I just started and is due tomorrow…) and it’s about FEMINISM and the ROLE OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY etc etc etc.

I realized at Fall Retreat that I have very little to back up these opinions that I have. The issue of the role of women in church/women in ministry/being a woman etc etc etc was brought up this weekend. And I found myself in a situation I rarely find myself in - wanting to vocalize my disagreement.

Honestly, I just really wish it didn’t matter. I wish it didn’t matter and no one cared about the difference between genders. But people do care….and it does matter? I guess.

Of course, this wasn’t what Fall Retreat was about. It was about the most important thing - the gospel - being captivated by Christ, pressing forward in love.

But now I’m trying to write this paper about women…and I’m frustrated. Anyone, if you have an opinion on this subject, or just anyone in general, please talk to me about this. I would love to talk to you. After I write this paper.
